With Republicans in Cleveland this week and Democrats in Philadelphia next week, the American Hotel & Lodging Association is using the opportunity to raise the visibility of the industry it represents.
AHLA announced Tuesday it is kicking off its "Dreams Happen Here" campaign at the party conventions to showcase "the industry's unique story of supporting good jobs and pathways to long-term careers." As part of the campaign, participating hotels gave guests keycards with the AHLA logo on them.
"We are excited to amplify our industry's story of job creation and growth to key influencers from across the country on both sides of the aisle during these prominent, widely-attended events," AHLA CEO Katherine Lugar said.
The "Dreams Happen Here" campaign is part of a larger initiative launched last year to tout the economic benefits of the hotel industry. As part of the effort, the association plans to unveil an economic impact study about the impact of the industry on communities with hotels. http://bit.ly/2a38tyY
